Newly graduated artists Jenny Mowat and Emma Milligan are presenting a short viewing of their work at Cormiston Farm on the first weekend of the festival preceded by Art After Dark, special light and music event on the evening of Saturday October 17th.

Fascinated by our deep cultural roots, Jenny’s work shines a light on the iconic Herring Girls and resilient fishing culture that shaped our coasts. Every piece is a one-of-a-kind tribute to the hardworking hands that built our heritage.

The essence of Emma’s work is rooted deep within the details. The colours, fibres, textures and stitches, offer a tactile exploration of the tangible and sensory journey she has created.
