Blues-Rock from the ‘Southern Black Forest’ – Germany
Blue Deal’s debut album “Holy Ground” (2022) received excellent reviews from the international and national trade press.
This was followed by winning the “German Blues Challenge” in 2023, then reaching the semi-finals of the “International Blues Challenge” in Memphis (USA) in January 2024.
In May 2024, their second studio album “Can’t Kill Me Twice” was released on the renowned blues label “Dixiefrog” based out of Paris which also received excellent reviews, winning the “German Blues Award” – Best Album 2024.
Their latest album “Make a Change” has just been released (October 2025) and is already gaining worldwide recognition with rave reviews from press and listeners alike!
Fresh, powerful and experienced, Blue Deal are a force to reckoned with!
The synergy of Tom Vela, one of the best guitarists of the ‘New Blues Generation’ with their musical powerhouse of a drummer, Jürgen Schneckenburger, groove-meister Willi Macht on bass and multi-instrumentalist and frontman Joe Fischer (former Cadillac Blues Band) makes Blue Deal an innovative cross-generational project.
From Roots Blues to pure Rock – everything in between – and beyond. Much to the delight of fans and the international trade press!
Blue Deal’s full range can only be felt and experienced live, so secure your tickets now for an up close and personal show from one of the best bands on the scene!

Event Details
Piers Adams is widely regarded as one of the greatest
recorder players of our time. Over his 40-year career he has recorded numerous
CDs and given thousands of concerts and broadcasts across the world with
his iconic baroque ensemble Red Priest and as soloist in many other
contexts. His dream to combine the
simplicity of the recorder with the possibilities offered by modern-day synth
technology led to the release of ground-breaking album Bach Side of the Moon in 2018 (which reached no.5 in the
international New Age charts) and to the formation of Baroque Alchemy.
Lyndy Mayle studied piano and harpsichord at Chetham’s
School of Music and the Royal College of Music. She has worked as music
director of several productions at the National Theatre in London and as a
recording artist on film and TV soundtracks.
Moving away from the performing world she practised for many years as a
music therapist before developing her reputation as a highly respected piano
teacher. Baroque Alchemy marks her
return to the concert platform – and to her early music roots – and she brings a
wealth of musical experience, passion and spirit to this joyful musical
collaboration.

“If Fleetwood Mac had grown up on a pirate ship they’d sound like this!”
Ed Leigh, BBC Ski Sunday
“Circadian is a brilliant, thought-provoking single from Brother Sea. The story-telling is compelling, the harmonies hypnotic and is, overall, a beautiful song.”
Daniel Pascoe – BBC Radio Cornwall
“Beautifully crafted chords, intricate lead parts and glowing harmonies make Circadian the go-to feel good song on your Summer Playlist. Could the lyrics be more fitting to the time we currently find ourselves in, ‘Colours emerge from the dark.’ I’m a believer, and you will be too.”
Joel Richardson – Blackstar Amplification.
“Brother Sea – a refreshing wave of original songs and fine musicianship, but also adept at great renditions of traditional pieces.“
Hamish Burgess – Maui Celtic Radio Show

Event Details
For what began as a side project for Michael Weston King & Lou Dalgleish, a simple labour of love, a homage to the classic country duets of the 60’s and 70’s, My Darling Clementine has grown and grown and now some rivals the solo careers of it’s two main protagonists.
Outstanding songwriters and singers individually, who between them have worked with such diverse artists as Nick Cave, Bryan Ferry, The Brodsky Quartet, Steve Earle, Nils Lofgren, Ron Sexsmith, & Graham Parker, together they create harmonious magic and are a formidable musical force.
In a 13 year period they have released six critically acclaimed albums, a DVD collection, and played over 1000 shows right across the world. The numerous accolades and awards they have won has placed the band at the forefront of the ever burgeoning Americana scene.
As well as showcasing brand new songs, the current live show is a deep dive into their extensive and revered back catalogue. Michael and Lou’s songs have been covered by over 40 different artists and featured in various films and TV shows. Lou’s song No Matter What Tammy Said was placed in the top 25 country songs of the 21st Century by Country Music People magazine, while Michael’s song Riding The Range was covered by the late, great Townes Van Zandt.
Given their mutual love of other songwriters, expect a tastefully chosen cover version or two, including something written by Elvis Costello. Their 2021 album Country Darkness, a collection of Costello songs re-interpreted for duet, was made in collaboration with EC’s long standing pianist Steve Nieve.

We are delighted to welcome Carrie Martin back to the Arcadia Music Cafe!
Carrie is a renowned singer/songwriter and guitarist from East Yorkshire. Singing self penned songs, written from the heart.
Her passion is intricate guitar work in open tunings, beautiful and sometimes haunting melodies and genuine connection with her audience. We’re big fans here at AMC after she played a mesmerising set during Biggar Little Festival 2025. She also loves to pop in the odd classic cover to keep everyone on their toes.
You’ll also get to meet her wonderful cast of instruments, who all play their part in creating such a rich tapestry of sound.
If you’re a guitarist, music lover, enjoy well crafted beautiful songs or wish to spend the evening wrapped in a warm musical embrace then this night is for you!
