Clydesdale Folk Club meets on the last Thursday of every month upstairs at The Elphinstone Hotel, High Street, Biggar.

Our guests perform all genres of folk music from Scottish, Irish and English traditional music and song to Contemporary singer/songwriters, Americana and World music.

Our club is wholly inclusive and encouraging of new talent and we provide an opportunity for everyone to participate in keeping live music alive.

Musical Theatre Performance Arts

The Dukes of Uke are a 9 piece ukulele band based in Biggar, We play a variety of different ukulele sizes, ranging from soprano and concert to tenor and baritone.
We even include the bass guitar, which we consider to be our largest ukulele.
All of this accompanied by our percussionist.
We play a wide variety of musical styles, from punk to pop, country and western to folk.
