Event Details

Catriona Taylor’s work is inspired by the sea and coastline around Scotland, drawing on maps, history and poetry. During lockdown, she embarked on a project that involved walking daily in the Pentland Hills before creating a drawing inspired by somewhere she had visited, returning to the simple but important aspects of art: observing, drawing, working outdoors, and capturing the clouds and weather in the moment. The Pentland Hills and the sea continue to provide inspiration for her work.
