Event Details

As part of Biggar Science Festival, Karen Cecilia, accompanied by Rozan Vroman playing her science-inspired piano compositions, invite you into a performance where art and science meet in extraordinary ways. Blending music, movement, and storytelling, Karen transforms invisible forces into living sound, revealing how vibration, energy, and human perception shape our experience of the world.

With magnetic stage presence, Karen sculpts the air with every gesture, creating haunting melodies that feel both deeply personal and electrically alive.

Karen and Rozan’s performance explores the fascinating intersection of physics, neuroscience, and emotion, asking how sound influences memory, identity, and connection.

This is more than a concert; it’s an immersive journey into the science of listening and the art of being human.

The performance will be preceded by an introduction to the physics of the theremin by Professor Murray Campbell, an expert in the physics and acoustics of musical instruments, who will explain how these electromagnetic waves produce sound.

Pay what you can – join us for an unforgettable evening where curiosity, creativity, and sound collide.
