This year Biggar is opening eight gardens to showcase late spring/early summer gardens, the easily-walked route is centred on the northern end of the town. The gardens are a delightful mix including three very different little gems to be found behind the High Street: the garden of an award-winning authority on Meconopsis, an impressive contemporary garden, a delightful cottage garden developed on a budget, as well as two larger gardens filled with interest and surprises, one of which is the perfect location to enjoy a homemade tea.
